Not tooooo sure what to write here since I'm a bit new to this, but I've finally got this first chunk of CQ finished up to a point where I felt comfortable enough to release a public demo.
I've been working on CQ on and off for the past 7-ish months now, although the initial ideas/plans started as far back as mid 2021.
I'll definitely post more updates here and on the GB Studio Discord as progress continues, but for now I hope you enjoy the demo if you try it out!

This looks incredibly promising. So far the demo makes an amazing use of the color palette. Any expected date for the final release?
No expected date yet. I'm currently working on polishing up this first world and the game's overall mechanics which will be released in a new demo when done. Once the basics are fully complete I'll start chugging away at the other 3 worlds I plan on making. I haven't had a ton of time to work on Candy Quest as of late, but I'll be getting back into it really soon. Thanks for the kind words and asking!
Edit: I'll also likely make some sort of big update post soon with what my plans are and what's currently done/being worked on.
